Third Transnational Meeting of our Project

2022-11-15

The third international meeting of our project was held in November 2022 at the Zavod Boter institute in Novo Mesto, Slovenia.

In addition to Van Provincial Directorate of National Education, representatives of project partner institutions Van Edremit Public Education Directorate, RS Planning and Project Center, Zavod Boter Institute (Slovenia), UC Limburg University (Belgium) and Sportsko učilište PESG University (Croatia) attended the meeting.

The third meeting of the project, which was prepared with the general aim of increasing the digital competencies of adults in order to increase their foreign language proficiency and equipping them with the qualifications required by the new world order, lasted two days. First, the partners acknowledged that they had read the first output, the Digital Storytelling Toolkit, and approved the final version. Then the project's Facebook and Instagram were activated and all partners set a username and password so that they can share their activities and be invited to share information from other profiles of their organization for dissemination and visibility of the project. A table of coordinators who will be Facebook and Instagram editors has been created on behalf of their organizations.

After that, an overview of the second intellectual output (IO2), the E-learning platform, was given. Our second release, StoryLand, is an online e-learning platform based on learning English and a website that offers self-learning-sharing activities for adults. We reviewed the menu items of this output, talked about the visuals and content. As promised by this IO's lead partner (RS Planning), the platform will look more colorful and user-friendly. Providing the content is left to the partners.

It was also suggested at the meeting to create a folder where we would upload our digital stories.

The next part of the meetings is devoted to workgroups where we review applications to help us create digital stories (Powtoons).

Just like our first intellectual output, our second intellectual output will be freely accessible at storlandproject.com when it is completed.

The final meeting of the project will be held in Ankara, Turkey in May 2022.
